I have a old industrial Pransky it has on it Three Twelve (312) #0512. Made in Boston. I need a manual on it. I have checked online an can not find anything on it. Any Ideals ? This was given to me and I think I need a foot see pictures. I know this is a long shot but I had to ask!

as you can see it is a twin needle, but will I need a foot to push the fabric?

Found the company on the internet:
    http://www.manta.com/c/mtwjrj7/prans...ing-machine-co

Might be worth calling them to see if they can help.

Looks like a double needle machine.

Thank you so much. I called and let it ring for over five minutes no answer nor did I get a voice mail. :-( Funny I live about 50 mile from Atlanta where this company is or isn't.

I clicked on the link just for fun and they are near the airport in Atlanta - have 1-4 employees. maybe they are away for the holiday weekend? Your machine looks interesting. I hope you find what you need.

I knew the owner, Abram Pransky, while I was a medical student @ Tufts Medical School on Harrison Ave. in the early 1970s. He was a great guy, a grad of law school but took over the business from his father. The bulk of his business was to buy sewing machines on auction, fix them up and sell them overseas. I bought a used vintage typewriter from him and we ended up having lunch about once a month, an old man and a grad student. He was like a mentor. He died in 1987 @ age 81. His son inherited the business but he was not a businessman. The company - in Boston -closed down. The building - in Boston's "Chinatown" is now occupied by a Chinese import company. I know this does not solve your problem and I'm not certain the Georgia Pransky office is the same. Best.

Off topic, I know, but I also knew Abe Pransky. My dad was a Harvard/Beth Israel doc (Edward Frank) and Mr. Pransky was a patient and was the nicest man. Was great to us kids as well. We had a "fancy" sewing machine with a whole box of cool cams! We also had some Pransky binoculars! Michael, if you get this - would love to hear from you.
