I hope you all enjoy the weekend. It is always exciting with end of summer fun and back to school for the kids.
We are supposed to have a beautiful September (according to a know-it- all aquaintance!!). May the weather spirits smile on your hometown!

Wow you guys are quick!

It's was in the high 80's here last week, almost perfect. The magnolia tree is losing it's leaves, which is always our first sense of fall. Then I checked the forecast for this coming week.....high 90's until weeks end then into the 100's OMG. Come on! I know Fall is hiding out there somewhere!!!!!!

Our kids left for Germany yesterday and sent word it was storming in Berlin. I'm a little jealous.

I'm posting it but girls please tell me why my pictures are posting upside down and sideways. I'm taking the picture correctly but it's not downloading right... Thank you Jaba. I'm in the middle of making my mini quilt. It'll be sent out next week

Thats weird Nan. When I look at your post using my iPad, the pic is correct. On my Mac it's sideways??? who knows! But any way I see it, it's gorgeous Great job Jan. I'm feeling cooler already.

Glad you like it Nan, I could just feel it getting cooler as I sewed
Don't know about your pics but have seen posts where if you use an IPad you need to turn it sideways to take the pic and when you post it comes out straight. Don't know I always post from computer, haven't figured out how with my phone or IPad
Here's a pic from my computer
