Scrappys are my favorite and QAYG is the only way to go. Would love to see the back of your quilt and what you did with that. Love it!

You are amazing! Your quilts are great. I can't get over how you made the blocks all work together to create these wonderful scrappy quilts! Also great that they are quilt as you go!

Thanks for sharing - truly looks awesome!
👍
I have been using Kaye Woods 6 hour quilt technique, but I don't use a serger.

There are other methods using sashing between the blocks and rows, but I found that could get a little thick. I will use that method occasionally, if I have to.

Here's some other tutorials (I didn't check them all out though.)

Thank you for checking it out. It is only one quilt but I posted both sides.

Hi. The first post has the front and back, but there is really no front nor back since they are reversible.

I think it takes a long time too, but it works for me. I worked on this off and on for 2 1/2 months.

Well, even when I am making it, I get a little tired of all the small pieces busyness. That is why I will do the traditional blocks around the edges or sometimes just long strips. Works for me.

I made some rag quilts a few years, and I had to spend days just cutting those blocks before I even got started. That just about killed me. I tend just to pick out fabrics as I go (from what I already have from previous purchases - sometimes larger pieces, sometimes small pieces of fabrics I just like.)
