I sew with three groups of friends. Sew part of Wed at one church, then I move to another church and sew until whenever. We have so much fun. We talk and sew and help one another. Then once a month I sew with the guild. We give each other ideas. rip one another's mistakes, laugh together. We don't need mental health treatment that way.

Nope, my sewing room is my get-away. It is only big enough for one and I like it that way. (Well, there is a guest chair for the hubs and kitty.)

My quilting buddy and I get together sometimes and sew. We call it our 'stitch and b#$%^' and we enjoy it. Sometimes we sew and sometimes, we 'road trip' to a quilt shop and go out to eat. We have been doing it for several years. We enjoy it.

I quilt with friends all the time. It seems I accomplish a lot more when we are chatting and giggling away the day

I have a friend that I sew with, she just bought a long arm and kept it a secret for a year! Finally she couldn't keep the secret anymore and let me see her longarm! it was the biggest surprise!

Personally, I prefer the quiet of my own sewing environment. When sewing with others I get very little accomplished because of noise and interruptions.

Once a month I get together with friends to sew. It is only one day out of the month so I don't care if I get nothing done because it is very stimulating to be introduced to different ideas. We always meet at the same person's house as she doesn't want to travel. It takes more than an hour for all of us to drive there soyou can see how all of us love it. Usually it is a group of six. We have "show and tell" and we are thinking of having mini challenges. If someone has a technique they would like to demonstrate, we do that sometimes. Not everyone has to participate if they don't want to. I think this sort of meeting is beneficial as long as it doesn't fall into the trap of being a gossip session.

I certainly do quilt with friends. We meet every Tues. some beginners, some advanced and have an awesome time. We will also do Quilt of valor projects and baby quilts. It meets from 4 to 5 hrs and we take turns with lunch. It's normally 6 and then to 8 when our snowbirds come down. Some shopping at times but mostly sewing and some instructions? Love, love, love it always.

My sister and I live together and share our quilting studio. I love the time we sew together. Sometimes we sew alone. But mostly she has all her own stuff. She does however like for me to cut for her! And being the older sister, I like she still needs me. LOL
