Thank you Rosyhf. I bought the owl pattern from JoAnn's. My printer uses regular size paper. Maybe I should have read it all before I hit print. The dog is big enough for a newborn or wall hanging. Let me know if you have any problem finding the owl pattern.

I've done about 18 of them for nieces, babies and church raffles and auctions. You can't not do them well. Everyone loves them. I've even done them with minky on the front side, fake fur for the ears to give them extra techure 9 i can't spell this morning

Patski, I am going to Joann's today, I will browse the patterns. I cut the entire dog out yesterday and did the entire head last last. If you add the fabric yardage up, it takes 10 yards. It's a good size quilt. I just love doing it. I don't like the ears on the cat, makes her look like a piggy lol. I will change that when I start that one and also change the muzzle and eyes.

I'm going to finish the dog today and wash him and dry him to fluff him up. I made him out of flannel as I have a big collection of that/ This dog will go to Texas the end of the month, to two sweet babies, they can share until I get the cat done lol.

Yours is far cuter than mine! I love all the fabrics you chose, very well done
Tannis.

I'm sure it is supposed to be bigger but nothing was said about enlarging the pattern pieces. Thanks to Tannis I was able to finish it. I have the owl pattern now and will probably do that one sometime.
