Default Didn't see my mistake

I made this quilt top quite some time ago, but today I was looking at pictures of quilts that I have made and as I looked at this one it took me a while to understand what was not quite right. The square in middle with the gingham is turned wrong. I couldn't believe that I had not noticed it before. Thankfully since it is not quilted yet I was able to take out just that one square and fix it right. First time I have ever done that dumb thing.

If it had been in the very center of the quilt , it would have made a nice/interesting accent!

It took me a moment to spot it, also. Sometimes photos really do help us to "see" things better.

Glad you spotted it in time to change it.

A whole top with that "variation" would also be nice.

Like the black and black and white accents with those colored squares and white background.

It helps me to take a picture of what I'm working on. For some reason, it's easier for me to spot problems or mistakes rather than just looking at it. I really like your quilt. I've been collecting some gingham and want to use it in a quilt someday. Glad you were able to fix the problem before quilting it.

Perhaps you are being to hard on yourself. It's a lovely quilt.

Well spotted....so glad it was an easy fix....it would do my head in if I found a mistake after quilting/binding.

It took me a while but I would not have noticed it if you had not told me. Beautiful quilt.

Great use of gingham (of which I have been gifted more than I will ever use!!) It took me some time to find the problem too. So glad it will be a relatively easy fix.
