I have two office chairs in my studio that are mesh covered and cool to sit on. Lets the air circulate well.

Office chair with arms, not Too big. I can pivot or roll between my machine, adjacent ironing table, bed for sorting/planning/piling/propping. Sometimes a small pillow behind my back helps with lumbar strain.

The attachment picture of your chair in that thread isn't valid anymore. I looked on Amazon but there are too many to choose from. Do you have a picture of it? And is the back solid or does it warble? Sounds good though.

Do you have a picture or an URL where I can check it out?

I finally broke down and got a Heavenly seating chair. After years of using an office chair from the 60s, and being very sore if I sewed more than 30 minutes at a time. Best investment I've made! I'm tall and heavy so not just any chair would work........and believe me I tried out many.

Yes, if you look in the same thread, but further down, you'll see a picture I took of it. I had the link to the image on amazon but they deleted it. Apparently for copyright issues but no other website I've ever been on deletes them. It's not like I'm trying to steal the picture-I'm actually sending people to amazon. But whatever.

    The back is pretty solid.

I need a new chair but so costly, I got an office type chair from a furniture store going out of business but with severe back issues I wonder if anything would be comfortable. I usually sew in short periods because of pain. I did get a special lumbar pillow at the chiropractor that is nice, has a strap to help secure to a chair but because back isn't solid piece straps don't work as well. The bungee chair sounds nice but no stores like that up here. Not a lot of choices for shopping up here...

I have an old one from a dinning room set. It has casters on it and that is big for me. Getting up and down,it makes it easier when it rolls back and forth.
