Stitch in the Ditch and Straight Line Quilting
#41
I wanted to update on this. After searching around I saw some you tube videos of ruler quilting. So I ordered an HQ 6 in, 1/4 in thick quilting ruler. My frame has a small area, not like the long arms do, so the 6 inch worked well for me. It has helped tremendously in sewing a straight stitch. I knew there had to be a better way. Now just to practice practice practice.

I do a lot of straight stitching mostly because I've just started working on my FMQ and originally it was much easier to do that on my old machine. But I've done stitch in the ditch once and hated it. It is so easy to may it look bad, at least in my opinion.
