Thanks for the idea of putting it on wheels! I might do that if I have room in our next place, but right now I can't move anything much as I'm set up at one end of the playroom.

I have a desk and two long closed bottom tables in an L shape that block off the sewing area and the ironing board is contained in that area. All sharp/dangerous tools are put up and away. I'm pretty diligent in keeping everything put away and tidy so there are no accidents.

just put felt on the bottom of the legs and you can move it around without scratching the wood floor. I think castors would make marks
