Default Big Binding

what a quick easy charity quilt, especially for a child's panel. Has anyone done this?

I'm thinking it's a good way to bind table runners & placemats - using a smaller binding.

I've done this several times. It's always a little tricky when I have to figure out how to sew and cut the corners, but then the light bulb always goes off

My only complaint is that it works with only two pieces of fabric – there's really no way to add batting. I've made it with fleece as the over-sized backing, and that give the blanket a little more heft, which I like.
