I think it adds wonderful dimension having it raised. Very creative thinking. I love seeing something different in a quilt. As beautiful as this is, you are making it unique.

Very pretty pattern and embroidery. I really like duster idea too. Your idea seems very creative. Please show when your finished.

Continue as you are and do all four corners. Beautiful!

Yes, all four corners. Adds a framing dimension and integrates with the other blocks. Beautiful.

I also agree with framing the embroidered block as shown in Duncan EQ drawing. You have a lot of blank space with your embroidery and the pieced border will enhance it Good Luck. Your fabric and embroidery are absolutely gorgeous.

Yes, add the corners as it will fill in some of the blank white space and add interest. Love your embroidered blocks. Are those hand embroidered or machine as they are beautiful.

I like adding to the corners of the embroidered blocks too. This will be lovely when finished.

Thanks all! I will definitely be adding the corners, and I think I'm going to do them "raised" so they look like they are framed. Worse case scenario I take them off!

They are machine embroidered! About 4-5 hours per block!

It is going to be a beautiful quilt. I would suggest that you use a heavier tear-away backing for your embroidery or a second layer and it will help eliminate the pulling around the designs as you embroidery.
