Balance..ugh! Finding the balance with all the different shades of blue for my grandsons' quilt was easy but trying to balance the purples was a real struggle. I guess because purples can be red based, or blue based, they can easily clash so all these chevrons spent days and days pinned up on the design wall and every person that came into the house got dragged into the sewing room to "have a look and switch" before I finally felt happy with the layout. My biggest fear is when I give it to Miss 3 year old she will then decide that green, or yellow is her favourite colour!!!!!!!!

Very nice indeed, love chevrons . I left a safety pin in one of mine, luckily I was able to work it out before I finished binding it.

Fabulous chevron quilt... your fabric collection is great, especially for a young lady.

Very pretty. Love of purple - not lavendar - seems to run in my family. My mother, me, and now my 4-yr old granddaughter, too. Chevrons are so attractive and graphic.

Beautifully done. Sure glad you found those pins before gifting. Funny, in quilting, for me anyway, always a lesson learned. But, I will be carefully checking from now on.
