    Default Rag quilt question

Hi everyone. I made a sweet flannel rag quilt for a baby girl. I used 5 inch blocks, each with an X, with no batting. I made 1/2 inch seams and snipped each seam close to but not touching the seam. I washed it twice and dried it In a commercial dryer, and it looks adorable, BUT it won't stop shedding. The seams are all soft and fluffed up and look just like they are supposed to, but it leaves a trail of tiny threads wherever it goes. any thoughts? TIA.

Put in the dryer with a damp towel, maybe add a clean tennis shoe. It has to stop sometime.

Yes, that is what happens. If it is a gift, tell whoever you give it to be very carefully when washing it. Sometimes before it spins, to reach in the water and grab any large piece of the "shedding" Rag quilts can and have stopped up quilter's plumbing.
