101s aren't terribly common. They were only made for a few years and I think they were expensive to produce. They're a really neat (and unique) design. If this helps you they use class 66 bobbins and standard 15x1 sewing machine needles.
For oiling and threading purposes the 101-4 manual should be fine.
Looks like the 101-10 and 11 versions are portable aluminum bodied versions in carrying cases. From what I've seen the portable ones are different underneath. IIRC the knee controller is built in on those.

I suppose the wicks need to be repalaced or at least goven a good clean after 50 to 80 years or so. Oil gets grimy over the years, unless there's a steady flow of it. I think some of the Necchi models had smaller wicks a few places, like the inners of the hand wheel. I'm sure it works well as long as the wicks are in good condition and the oil is pure enough?

Hi, the 101-3-,4 are pretty much the same I have the 101-4 in a cabinet the wicking part needs fresh oil , the wicks can be cleaned with paint thinner, and grease the gears I use the white gear grease high temp .. my machine s knee part was broken took that out , put a foot pedal on it and it works fine, others complan that it runs slow mine runs as fast as my singer 15 . I've noticed some greases slow down the movements, even though it's just ever so slightly. I'm thinking speed and noise level is all about cleaning, oiling and the right grease?
