Hair spray or WD-40. I know WD-40 takes permanent ink off a lot of things.

melaleuca's sol-u-mel stain remover. I've used it for years on ink and sharpie marks...good luck.

try some hand sanitizer - I use it on my dry erase board , leaves it very clean.

91% isopropyl alcohol will take it right off. It is sold right beside the much weaker 70% regular alcohol. About 1.00 a bottle.

Yes, I totally agree. Nail polish remover is a whole different kind of remover.
