Thanks for the info Sophie2. I am excited to start my first one.
SEWBIZGIRL - your scraps and blocks look great!

But that's just as well - I have plenty of other mysteries lined up for that day, so an extra week or two for Bonnie will be appreciated
What other mysteries are you going to be working on? :-)

I've been sewing along with this mystery, but I'm a little behind. I just started clue #4 today, and I sewed one block to be sure that I was cutting everything correctly. I have most of the pieces cut, and a few more seams sewn. I should get enough completed tomorrow to post some pictures. According to my calculations, we have completed 65% of the quilt top and have these amounts of fabric left over

Reds 1 1/2 yards
Golds 1 yard
Blacks 1 1/8 yards
Neutrals 2 1/4 yards
Constant Gray 1/3 yard

Oh Sophie2, I love this saying I am going to have to borrow it. "Freshen up" your stash, love it, lol.

These relaxed weekends after the holidays and before yard-work season are my favorite. Spent much of Saturday and Sunday sitting at my sewing machine. I am caught up and have been wondering if Bonnie will reveal on New Year's Day as she has in the past. That's Friday!

This quilt is supposed to be 82" x 96" finished. That's 7872 square inches. Through Clue #5, we have completed 5118 square inches. That leaves us with 2754 square inches to complete with whatever fabric we have left. Sashings? Borders? Only Bonnie knows.

@Kassaundra and @JeanneS, stay safe! Just saw some of the pictures from your storms and flooding - how awful!

I'm still plugging along on clue 4 but will pack it away by tonight no matter how many I've completed. It really is SO hard for me to put away a clue before it's finished. I've been good about it until this week.

I need to clean out and organize the refrigerator - looks like a bomb went off in there after all of the festivities and kids bringing things home from their events, as well. I need to cook some really healthy things over the next few days. I have a new brussels sprouts recipe and a nice salad, too.

Splinter, Thank you! I was curious to what we have used and this really helps.

I skipped clue 4 and went right to 5. About half of what I've sewn together are a little wonky. UGH! I have 3 piles - good, passable and rip apart. Nothing is easy!
