What an amazing accomplishment! I've been thinking about tackling that quilt, but it probably take me much longer than 4 years.

It boggles my mind the amount of work that you have put into this quilt and still more to be done. Very impressive to say the least.

You did a fine job and deserve to be proud of it. I don't believe, however, that your first hand quilting should be on something that took you 4 years to finish. I would suggest that you either put it aside for a while, or be contented with machine quilting. After all, machine quilting has been around (in my family as least) for over a hundred years, machine piecing over 150.
