Very bright and pretty. A lot better than going out and buying a new purse or tote. Good job.

Very nice tote, despite your sewing mishap, I once sewed through my thumb, not easy to do, but I'm very talented that way. LOL. I like the longer handles too. I had to make a new purse with the longer handles when I had shoulder surgery, and I couldn't use my cane and carry a bag. Always a good excuse to make a new bag. Now I need to make a smaller one so I won't be tempted to carry so much "stuff" in my bag. Although when DH hands me stuff to put in my purse that doesn't help either.

I haven't bought a bag/handbag since making my first one many years ago. Here in Wales, and most of the UK there is a law that supermarkets have to stop giving away carrier bags they have to charge 5p. trying to help the environment and it is working, you don't see many carrier bags thrown away now. Because of this all my friends and family have been given shopping totes and they love them. This one has enough room to take my purse and keys leaving plenty of room for bits of shopping.

    Thank you for your compliments.
