I am sitting here crying over your loss. I hope that working on this quilt will be healing for you. I agree with the EQ7 pic that is posted. If there aren't enough sets to complete it (or it gets a bit hard to continue), you could set the finished blocks in a design and fill in with other blocks using these colors. I do hope that when it if finished, it brings you some comfort to curl up under it.

First, let me tell you how sorry I am for your loss. I have a daughter named Kari, who is 38 years old, and I can't imagine your pain. I hope you can discover the pattern for this quilt as her colors are awesome together. I think that finishing this quilt in her memory will help you heal from such a tragic loss. I have found quilting got me through the loss of my 52 year old brother to lung cancer and making a quilt for my sister's first great granddaughter, helped me cope with her sudden death at 72; as we were supposed to work on it together. God bless you and your family and my prayers are with you.

I was going to mention if you don't have enough for a big quilt, you could use the blocks as a medallion then piece some other blocks, perhaps floral, or add borders to bring it up to your size desired.

Wow! This picture is inspiring! Kari died June 1st, 2013 and she didn't have any quilting books. She lived 90 miles away from me so I'm guessing there was someone who was walking her through this project. Thanks for showing so much care. I just joined Quilting Board so I don't know how to navigate very good but I wrote your name down and will try to send you a picture when I get it done. I'm working on it the first weekend in March. Thanks

So sorry for your loss. I lost my daughter in 9-12-1993 and it is hardest thing we will ever have to face. Beautiful colors and bless you for finishing this quilt. She would be so proud of you.
