I just made two for Christmas for me friends sons using their dads shirts who passed away last spring....colours were very similar to the shirts you posted...I made a simple 4 patch block ...random 5 inch squares and then bought a nice solid blue, called Denim, by Northcott...the Colorworks line...looked more like a royal blue despite the name....so it really brightened it up so much...on the back of each quilt we tried to personalize them for each son...one had vintage cars, the other guitars for the music lover...we were a little a pressed for time so had to keep it simple...they were quilted by me on the Longarm using a pattern called Hearstrings, which I thought appropriate for a memory quilt..I didn't even fake a pic but if my friends sends me one I will post it..
