    Can any UK members give me the month and year this pattern appeared in a British magazine. I think it was 2011 the year as these photos were published in 2011 in a friend's blog. Both used the same pattern with one an enlargement and the other made into a pillow case. Made by squares and half square triangles.

    Not sure Dotty - I don't remember seeing it as I don't buy a lot of magazines. Would it have been for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee in 2012? Or the Olympic Games, same year? Good luck.

    It's a quilt...not a flag. There's been lots of quilt based on the US flag and Union Jack
    and most of them have nothing to do with the original.
