Hi all, I'm sitting on the fence I'm making my way through reading the posts, trying to decide. Seems like a lot of fun!

I think this is the best swapping format personally. I get bored sewing the same block over and over and this gives you the freedom to try styles and fabrics you might not try otherwise. And these ladies are a great bunch of swappers too.

I have done modern quilts/quilting. They are not complicated designs for the "modern" quilt. The quilting to me is what makes it stand out. I personally like to do both. Judi Madsen has some fun Modern Quilts and I have made two of them. The quilting took 20 hours a piece for full size quilts. The tops themselves, done in a couple of days.

Ok, I will sign up. I may do two of them so I can get two quilts done for family this year, plus I need to bust some yardage. After these hens and roosters are done, I can get to washing and cutting up fabric for you. I will be doing Marvel fabric for my nephew's quilt with hopes of having greens, reds, blues, whites, the Marvel character colors.
Then, pondering on my time allowance, make another one using a blue batik I have with a white. Will see first on time.

Welcome to our newest member, QuilterMomma.

I did a quick recalculation of names and numbers and here are the updated sign-ups per group. The 3 month group is closing in on full. Sign-ups for the two month group are slower but who knows what will happen in the next 10 days. Remember, groups top out at 20 so when that number is reached, I will start a waiting list to fill any last minute drops.

    Two month Group - 9

Thank you to everyone for signing up for Boom 16. We have a little way to go but we'll be starting soon enough. I'll keep you posted on future signups. Also, I do make my share of mistakes so if anyone spots one, (wrong name in the wrong group, that kind of thing) please don't hesitate to let me know.

you can switch me to 2 month if you need. It would not be a problem for me.

Hi GramE. Thanks. Sometimes we have people asking to join at the last minute (actually the last 2 minute mark one time!) so I'm never sure what is what until I close the sign-ups. We can see how the groups shake out in a week or so. If you wish to change now, let me know, it's no problem to shift you into the other group but you needn't do it if you don't prefer it. Totally up to you at this point.

TG...Forget? Ummmm, no. Have I decided either way yet, no. I might be a last minute sign-up. I'm trying to focus on my UFOs and I haven't quite convinced myself doing new blocks ISN'T adding to my UFO stack. If I do join, it will be a la Billi, making additional blocks using a fabric I've already sent. (Thanks, Billi, for that fabulous rationalization! )

    You're welcome,
Just call me the queen of justification :-) give me enough time and I can justify anything.
