I think that you could take off the "kind of" on the modern. It looks pretty modern to me --as much as many I see on modern quilt sites.

And it's fantastic! Original. Nice! I like it.

That is beautiful! I love modern quilts and my desire is to learn how to make my own patterns. Not being artistic is challenging when trying to convey what I want to make, but I know what I like when I see it and this is a perfect balance. Really good job!
