Hi, I just joined and am wondering the best way to learn all about this board. Any tips on where to go first, how to get involved, etc.? Thanks for your help. P.S. How long have you been on this board and why do you like it? Thanks again!

Hi CatePDQ! Welcome from Southern California!
When I first started on QB I just started reading all the posts and after a few days I was using the Search window up on the right hand side of the page, just past the word Help.
Then to see what was available for instructions I looked thru the Tutorials.
You can see when people joined by the "Join Date;: under their name.
Enjoy! I have learned a lot from the folks here.

I started on "what's new" then moved on to pictures and tutorials.

Welcome from Southern California. Most of the interesting conversations can be found on the Main menu and Links and Resources. If you are looking for inspiration, then check out the Picture section where members post the photos of their quilts. Join the conversation and have some fun.

Oh, I forgot to mention the "Articles" section - they can be very helpful too.

Welcome from Oklahoma. I have been here since July 1, 2008. The first thing that I would do is go see as many pictures as humanly possible! It is a great form of inspiration.

Welcome. I have been on here about 2 yrs now I guess. I love to look at the pictures and have also checked out most of the other sections, too. I have found the Main section very helpful for getting several of my questions answered. I also asked a question or two in the chit-chat section about things around the house or my garden. No matter where I have posted a question, there are people ready and willing to help me out. The forum is great!

Welcome from Ontario, Canada. I go through What's New every day to see what everyone is working on. QB is the best place for inspiration, help and sharing.

I like to go to the main 'home' page as that is where most of the post and swaps are. I think joining a swap is a sweet idea and a good way to make 'friend'
