Default Quilt road trip

I desperately need a weekend road trip to anywhere quilt related. I live in central part of Oklahoma. Does anyone have suggestions for a weekend trip focused on quilting/sewing?

I would do a Google search to see who had stores that you would want to visit. You have Texas to the south and Kansas to the north. HAVE FUN!

Heartland Shop Hop is April 2-9 in NE KS/KC area

IMQA's MQS show is early May in Cedar Rapids (little longer drive)

and right now, put on your calendar for 2017 the KCRegionalQuilt Fest (check out websites for all these)

That Dallas quilt show sounds like a great get away. When my sister lived in Rialto,CA which is 20 minutes from Ontario where the Road to CA show is held, then I would get a hotel room, we would go to the show, then out to dinner after the show, thenI would go to my room, and repeat the next day. Then I would head for home on Sunday. If the show was really good I would go back by myself, but usually just get up and head for home after breakfast.

Right now I am looking forward to our annual trip to Las Vegas for the Mountain West Basketball tournament - my DH and DD go to the tournament and I stay in the condo and sew. We have asked for an upgrade for my friend to come up from Phoenix to join me. We did it last year and it was fantastic!

I suggest the upcoming Dallas Quilt Show. It is a nice show, big but not to much for a day. DH and I are going to the Dallas area for a few days over spring break and will go to the show.

I will be moving to central Ok in the near future, so I don't know what to tell you, but will be interested to find out what others have to say
