Just to avoid confusion, these are Elmer's crayons (the makers of glue) and not Crayola.

We used the rose art ones to decorate Tshirts when my kids were younger. They colored on them, them I ironed them with a sheet of paper between them and the iron. (Paper towels work for ironing too.)to set the colors.

I have never used Elmers' Crayons on fabric. I have used Crayola washable makers on fabric. In fact I have marked my last 3 quilts using these Crayola markers, and it washed out. I do recommend testing it first.

Interesting. I have Googled to find Elmer's crayons and cannot find them anywhere online. Went to the elmers.com website (makers of the glue) and couldn't find them there either. Maybe they are a local product?

I don't know, I did find them at the local Dollar store, so perhaps they are a counterfeit product? it unfortunately happens. I found it funny that I couldn't find it on their website either.

Edit: Just wondering. Elmer's also makes Ultra Clean Washable Crayons. But why would a quilter prefer using crayons over markers?
I wonder too. The markers work out fine. Maybe because of the potential of drying out?

I'm totally confused at this point! Prism, these are not Elmer's, they're the Crayola Ultra Cleans! Such confusion!
