My apologies, Judith,

I have seen Lynnie's avatar so often and I know she is in lots of swaps and there I was just assuming ( which you should never do), that she was my swap partner. My applogies to Lynnie also. I am pleased that it is all sorted now and that I have the correct "Linny". Thank you, you have enough to do with organising the swaps without sorting out mix ups.

I finally got the top done unless I add something to it. Does anybody have pictures of the backs? What goes there? fabric? Card board? Foam? Do you put anything in the middle or does that make it heavy for mail?

Looks like a GREAT GROUP!! I need to sit out a couple of months due to upcoming weddings and graduations. It is quilt season for me so it seems. But have no fear, I will be cheering you all on from the sidelines.
Here is the most recent quilts I have finished

Hi Owlvamp,
This postcard swap sounds like it will be fun -- I think I have an idea. Look forward to swapping with you.
(Looks like we share names.)

I put a piece of peltex, the heavy duty interfacing. then the fabric on one side and cardstock on the other. I put it all together with a zig zag stitch. straight stitch will cause a lot of perforations.

Sounds like a fun group and hope to join in the next one. Does every one post pictures of their postcard?

Hi gramquilter2,

We do all try to post photos if we are able to. I do post photos for some people when I can. I have been having some serious computer issues that just started. So, I am trying to come up with a way to still be able to do that. But, if you can't, then you can't. I hope you'll join us sometime soon. It's great fun!

I do it this way also, with one exception, I use muslin that I stabilize with a med weight stabilizer for the back. Everything else is the same. There is no wrong way.

If you click on my name, I wrote up a blog tutorial on postcards and included several links for other sites that also have tutorials and photos. Sorry, I can't post the links myself right now as I'm working off my tablet.
