Nice cards. Love the splash of color! I am going to make a shaker card. Maybe put beach sand in it! My partner should receive post card soon, I mailed on the 1st of Match.

I too thought of sand, but don't know if it will come out in the mailing.
I've got to try that one.

Crazy week at my house. I jammed the needle on my machine. Finally got through to Brother. Luckily it is under warranty. Dropped it off today. Had to wait for approval. The guy there tells me it is nearly 2 week wait. Arrg! I have way to much to do. I guess I need a back up. I have an old machine, but the tension knob is broken. I'll put it in the shop next. Good news, I called my local fabric shop and she has agreed to let me borrow one of her classroom machines for the weekend. I can pick it up after 2 on Sat. She has classes every day this week. Guess I will be cutting and pinning so I am ready for the weekend.

Greetings to all.............I did a PM to my partner, Armylady, sheesh I talked her ear off..............just rattled on and on...........my SIL is home. And today we took her to lunch, the $$ store, than on to Sams. She was able to get a screw in her glasses, the lady was very understanding. Continued to the drug store and she picked up her Rx. I did fiddle with my 4 D software and tried to load a ME on the stick for the SE. And I am not able to load a design. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.........it has been a while since I have used it and just so frustrating. I changed USB ports on my computer a desktop, tried a hub.............even tried to load onto another jump drive..........ugg............well enough of that
the cards shaker are cute and a great idea, as is the one that Judith did..........where do you find those little blocks? You also do a small churn dash I know............they are so cute.............oh its official..and has been verified Robins have returned to SE Michigan..............woot woot. Snowdrops are blooming, daffs are up 4 inches, crocus greens are up about 2 inches...........we will still get a snow as the robins have to walk in it up to their knees..............they just do.......................I have settled on an idea for my card, if I can get my machine to cooperate ....calla/Sue

Glad Queen your machine is covered, and that a shop is so generous to let you use a machine.............calla

Cookiezenmilk, a shaker card is made with a piece of vinyl stitched over the top of the card around the edges which can hold small items inside like buttons or confetti or other items. See my earlier post which shows the card Lynnie made for me this month. A great idea for sending to children too.
