Thanks everyone, now to see if Jan likes it   Still waiting to see. Not sure I shouldn't do something else with the corners. Will think on it for a few days

I LOVE IT! I LOVE IT I LOVE IT!

It looks fantastic, Ninnie. Don't change a thing!

I can't wait to have it back already, and there's still three more rounds of additions to go! I can't even begin to imagine how wonderful it's going to look by the end!

I guess I'd better get cracking on Elle's centre. I know what I'm doing with it, and I have all the fabric washed and ready to go. As usual, I just have to find time to sit down and do it... Can anyone spare an extra hour or two in the day that they can send me?

Hot off my sewing machine, here's Elle's centre. I hope she likes what I've done with it, and with Omak's gorgeous flying geese! I'm happy with the way it turned out, myself - it matches the picture I had in my head when I started pretty closely

I hesitated about the final black border - I know it doesn't leave it terribly "open" for the next border, but I wanted to continue the "framed" feel from Elle's four central squares, and tie the colours I was using back to the previous border and the centre. I think it worked, but I apologize in advance to Coletta if it makes the next border more difficult!

I'm going to pack it up tonight and put it in the post tomorrow to give it an extra week to get there, because the mail from Canada is horribly, horribly slow - as all my swap partners have learned!

Oh...that is just gorgeous! I know Elle will be thrilled with it! I don't think the thin black on the outside will be too limiting...it appears to have needed it on this round. I'm not sure that Elle will be able to check on it very quickly...Colin has started his treatments and she is very tied up, but I just know she will love it! Great job!

Your addition is wonderful. I love how you coordinated the look of the fabrics to the center. And, I, too, think the outer black strip is exactly what it needs. Great job.

Thanks for your comments everyone :D

I'm heading out to the post office with it now so that it has a few extra days to reach Colletta - our mail has been so very slow lately!
