I love looking at the different ways you can make a GFG quilt. This one is a beauty. Nice finish.

What a beautiful quilt! Good for you to finish it up. I really like the straight edge finish. Did it come that way, or did you square it off and then bind? Lovely work!

This was why it was a UFO. It was straight edge on the sides but the top and bottom had the hexies untrimmed. I quilted it that way and intended to bind it that way as well but I dreaded it and let it sit for several years. Finally decided finished is better than unfinished so I straight edged the other two sides and bound it. I am so happy to have it finished! Thanks for your interest,
