When you get to a certain number of sewing machines, you gotta do what you gotta do to get your other things put away. I just got a Ruby head when I didn't know where to put the machines I already had! Things get creative

Mickey2,
Singer 201's have two grease/gear boxes underneath. The cover plates come off and inside you will see. Might check yours out to see if I am correct about your particular machine.

I know, my 201K with a belted motor has the same covers, each fitted with three screws. I've had them off, but still the oil points are easier to use and I find they run a notch better on oil. I have tried both, the manual calls for oil and it's not strictly necessary to remove the caps when using oil.

The hand crank 201K has the same covers underneath, not hard to oil either; I've never removed the covers to oil.
