I prefer the first one. Usually I like the outside border to be darker but this has sort of a shabby chic look to it so I like the darker used as a narrow inside accent border. Very pretty fabrics!

DottyMo - I am thinking I would bind in the same darker color as the inner boarder. Thought I am not sure if I should put in that extra "stop". Wondering if I should bind in the same color as the outer border (the lighter color?).

Thank you Gay! Actually, the fabrics are a mish-mash between multiple stores (2 LQS, the blue paisley was from Joann's, and a couple of colors were from Hobby Lobby). I'm hoping it keeps growing on me. I didn't start out thinking this would be more blue, but I didn't have a clear picture at the beginning of what I wanted, and it just sort of morphed, as I pulled certain fabrics, added others, adjusted the pattern. I usually prefer to go in darker color ways (greens, reds, golds/yellows).

I totally agree with this one, unless you want to make it shabby chic. In that case, I would use the lighter blue as the stop border, then the other blue paisley or white (background) as the final larger border.
