Housewarming gift....need ideas

What about a kitchen towel holder...you can quilt the top. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aJrX-pdc8dw and also do this on the middle of the towel http://tashahorsley.typepad.com/alit...make-over.html

A quick idea: Do something with a house theme--maybe some coasters, a table runner or square, or a small wall hanging. I've done the coasters or mug rugs for a couple of similar gifts...I'm sure it would be easy to find a mini paper-pieced block, but you could do fun appliqué houses....You might try a search or "house coasters" or "house mug rugs.

I know it's not quilty, but how about a nice crocheted/knitted afghan in her favorite colors? As much as I love quilts, my knitted afghan is my 'go to' when napping/watching TV on the couch. It's the perfect weight/size for that task.

Does she garden? One of those pails with the fabric liners with all the pockets on the outside would be helpful. Another idea would be some grocery bags, one of them insulated for frozen items. You can never have too many table runners. Garden flags are fun. After reading through most of the posts, I did not see much for bathrooms. Guest towels, tank cover sets, and I love the tissue box covers that are so popular now.
