this is going to be gorgeous! I use a stiletto to pick off tiny pieces of paper, but I don't think leaving them intact will harm anything. I need to look at this pattern....it is very very tempting. And I LOVE the fabrics you have chosen! Carry on!

Trying to resist....too many UFO's that I promised myself to finish.....but.....love Wayne's method of setting this in a square! I wondered how it would be finished with all of those points....I like his finish, a lot!

That is an AWESOME site! Thanks so much, I will definitely be looking at that in further detail when I get ready to sew everything together!

Really, it's not hard. Some of the pieces are tiny LOL ... but it's pretty basic paper-piecing ... it will be the assembly that will drive me bonkers!

So here's an option for colour layout. And for the record, I'm going to drive myself nuts getting this laid out!!

    Default So frustrated!!!

So I mixed up one of the paper pieces ... AFTER ... I had sewn the first 3 pieces together of all of the wedges, and was almost done sewing the 10 wedges ...

I just spent three hours taking them all apart and sorting out which goes where ...

That will teach me to put something together at 10:30 at night!

At least I found the mistake before I had it done!

If you look at the stars ... they are missing an arm ... I was using the wrong piece!!!
