I love the bright fun colours in the top three quilts. I am a big fan of bold colour.
Your personal transformation is praiseworthy. I resemble your before photo, I can imagine how much work has gone into your after photo.

Congratulations on your weight loss. I am shocked that anyone would say such a hurtful thing to another person. That is really cruel. I am proud of you for turning that around. Your quilts are gorgeous! Keep up the good work!

First off, you and your quilts are amazing! I especially love the last photo of the patriotic quilt! Now the jeans quilt I recently made: I used my DH's jeans to make a baby quilt (actually a play mat for the floor) using tumblers, alternating jean tumblers and novelty print tumblers. It was a pretty heavy quilt but was adorable. Many years ago I made a rag quilt from denom yardage -- also a very heavy lap quilt. I love using it over my legs when I am achy or restless.
