In general when ordering anything on the internet, shipping is input before the final sale. Until you hit the "buy" button, you can stop.

I order lots of bolts from Marshall's for my guild's donation quilts. The shipping charges haven't been an issue with the budget committee and they are cheapskates. LOL

I got a 90 yard pkg. yesterday. Shipped via FedEx, the shipping was just under $16.00. Very reasonable. Sharon Thomas is a great sales rep--I highly recommend her.

Doesn't a bolt from the LQS hold 9 yards? Would it be the same?

I would suggest you ask them how much is on a bolt of that particular product!

Bolts can be any size. At the commercial place I like, they run from 11-15 yards. Often LQS's get smaller bolts because they order a very large selection of designs. I got a bolt of muslin from a friend and I swear it had 25 or more yards on it. It was huge.
