Question Lone Star Log Cabin Quilt

I have the book "Tried and True, Renewed" and it has this Lone Star Log Cabin Quilt pattern in it. I read in other posts that there is a mistake in this pattern. Can someone tell me what the mistake is before I start this quilt?

Welcome to the board from Southern California. Who is the publisher?? You might try calling them or sending them an email. Like magazines, they probably have corrections posted somewhere on their website.

Welcome from Kentucky. You may want to ask about this on the Main board. Hope someone can help you.

Welcome from the Hot and steamy Deep South. I don't have a clue about the pattern and don't even know what it looks like. Could you share a picture. If you are pretty sure there is an error, then I would try to verify all the instructions before I cut anything and then, I would only cut part of the pattern at a time.

Apparently this is the mistake in the book:

"In your instructions in your book please correct the width that you cut the "green medallion border" It should be cut to 3" wide and not 2 1/4" as it is stated in the book.
