Default Quilt shops near Long Beach, Signal Hill California

I was wondering where some good quilt shops are in the Los Angeles area...preferably near Long Beach or Signal hill area. But will appreciate any in the Los Angeles area.

I checked with a Google search and all they had listed was Fabric Barn which discontinued selling fabric many years ago. . The area of Signal Hills probably still has a lot of active oil wells. I also check the So CA Shop Hop and didn't see any quilt stores listed:

There was an excellent fabric store in Lomita called Treadleart but it appears to be closed.

I had not had time to do a thorough search, but had googled it and didn't see anything. Well, I seen a couple, but they seemed to be out of business. Thanks for the replies. I will broaden my horizons when I have time. Was just hoping to find a quick solution on here.

If you want to travel a little, there is Jenny's in Fountain Valley. It is about 15 miles from LB off the 405 fwy. It is a fabric store, not a quilt store (kind of like Mary Jo's in NC), but carry large selection of quilting fabrics. Don't forget to check out the shelves at the back of the store. Allow a couple hours there, $$, and bring an extra suitcase. If you have more time, M&L's is the sister's store near Knott's Berry Farm at Ball and Knott. It is larger, so allow MORE time, etc.

For sure M and L Fabrics in Bueno Park is the place to go. I have had visitors spend upwards of $500.00 there to take back home to Canada and New Zealand. It is my go to store for fabric and backings for the $2.98 section of flat folds.

I also recommend M & L. I hope to get there in the near future to stock up on quilt backings from their $2.98 flat folds.
