Beautiful. Each one of these is more beautiful than the last one I saw. I would love to make one, but I don't like to do hand sewing so I would never ever finish one. Quite an accomplishment!

Beautiful work. First quilt I have seen using a pentagon. I have been trying to design one, so far just in the design stage. No fabric cut or sewn. Yours is awesome, did you use a pattern? If so where did you get it?
I think I would plan to use the same size medallions.

I love seeing your progress! I am also making it, but with a limited pallette-blues, greens, and purples. I can't wait to see your all done- beautiful job!

The pattern is called "La Passacaglia" and is from the book "Millefiori Quilts" by Willyne Hammerstein. That said, I did not purchase the book but worked from pictures and diagrams I found online...

i am too. someone somewhere here or other on the web was broken hearted when it csme time to square hers. and i really think the squaring not only took away from the loveliness of her top ..but really defeated the entire thought of the pattern style. (i've been following a few pass projects as i had thought i wanted to do one) ...i love the colorway of yours. beautiful!!! i know now that i still prefer the look of & want to do a Patchwork of the Crosses rather than a pass quilt. yours is the only one i've seen that i like ...nay ...LOVE!! now i can hardly wait for winter & dig in to my scraps to start a crosses project suggestion ...if i may? a rich chocolate brown would make this beauty sing as a backdrop for all those lucious fall colors of your rosettes!
