The quilting works excellent with this quilt. What happened to your 1630?? I have a 1530 still piecing and quilting.

Let's see --- original design, exceptional quilting -- you've got a winner for sure, a piece to be extremely proud of, and one which should inspire others, as it has on the board -- to expand their quilting experiences! Thanks so much for posting this beauty.

Stellar quilt and quilting! Hope you documented the story that goes with it on the quilt label.

There is whole saga about my poor Bernina 1630. I have it back after three months at the repair shop and two visits of the computer board to Bernina in Chicago. They said they couldn't fix it after my spending $345 for the repair. Fingers crossed that it seems to be working correctly after two bobbins of thread so far.

While it was out I bought another 1630 on eBay from someone with 100 percent positive feedback. She claimed it was in perfect working condition. It was at the repair shop for a month and took $475 to fix many problems. That one has been returned too. Between the two of them, I hope to never have to buy another machine.
