Your fabric choice was perfect for your quilt. I really like that pattern and technique. Setting it on point really adds a special quality that just wouldn't be there if the blocks were set square. Great quilt.

This was a very easy pattern to make and is even marked easy in he magazine. I made sure I starched my fabric well because it does involve bias cuts on the outside edge of the blocks which can be tricky.

I usually make my quilts a few blocks at a time rather than cutting out a whole quilt before sewing but this one worked well doing each step in order. The churn and dash blocks all start with one size cut which made it easy to do the whole thing in steps.

I am going to try a mini version next!

So pretty, I just love that quilt block and how the design looks when all the blocks are put together.

Very pretty! Interested in the technique of HSTs.

The original post was quite a mystery to me. I'm having trouble imagining making a pinwheel without making HSTs. :-) The later post with the YouTube which shows how to make a disappearing pinwheel block was no help in solving the mystery for me, as that technique starts out with HSTs. But, even so, your quilt top turned out cute! Lovely fabrics! I like the pinwheel in the center of the Churn Dash block-- a nice idea. Thanks for sharing!
