Thank you so very much everyone for the wonderful comments. I so enjoy this board! Such beautiful work and I am so pleased to have found a "hobby" that brings joy to most everyone. I am proud at the age 61 to venture out to new parameters and feel good about my accomplishments, perfect or not. Just to take each new step is exciting. I would love to be able to free-motion quilt and sometime soon I will attempt that. You all are an inspiration!!! The encouragement and never an unkind word are fabulous! Thank you.

That was your first quilt. Amazing. I have seen this pattern by quilters that have been quilting for years and yours is as good as theirs. Congratulations.

You did a fantastic job for being your 1st (!!!) quilt!! Can't wait to see the next one!! Isn't it fun planning the next couple of quilts already? You're hooked for sure now!! We don't see any mistakes and I sure love those cone borders from the 30's! Keep up the good work!!
