    3.5" X 12.5"! I practically sleep with this one!

I am a huge fan of Creative Grids rulers. I have them in everything and size that I use. The clear and black lettering helps me see much better, no issues of cutting wrong lines or sizes. The grippers on the bottom are a huge help. The green and yellow gridded rulers caused issues for me, couldn't see as well. I love the 3.5"x 24.5". I only wish they made a 2.5"x 24.5", instead of the 2.5"x 36" one, which is great for cutting fleece. Ebay has great buys on the rulers, several businesses offer free shipping.

I went to the comprehensive YouTube tutorial to learn more about this template. What a great ruler. A brilliant addition to the ruler is the scan code: It will take you to its tutorial if you need help.

I am almost addicted to them. I have quite a few and even duplicates of some (purely by accident). I still need to play with my scrap ones.

I also prefer the Olfa Frosted Advantage rulers over the CG rulers. As someone else said, they seem more uncluttered to me and the frosting on the bottom makes the marks very easy to see on both light and dark fabrics. They are also very grippy.

I have a 12.5" square CG ruler and I find the black and white numbering on alternate sides confusing and non-intuitive; I think it just depends on how your brain is wired, as to which one works best for you.

I do think they have some specialty rulers that I would find useful - I just signed up for a tuffet class at my LQS at the end of this month, and it uses the CG 15 degree ruler, so I'll be buying that.

I use Salem rulers. Other rulers are much too cluttered for me.

Haven't tried them -- maybe I should check out their videos.

I have several of their rulers and now ONLY use those. I think they are great.

I had the same reaction the first time i test-drove a CG ruler a friend owns. They are, indeed, very different to my beloved Olfa Frosteds. But they offer some very convenient sizes and specialty rulers Olfa doesn't. The CGs are also not slippery. My Olfas are old enough now that they are slick underneath. So I am building a collection of CGs, too.

It does take some careful thought when switching back and forth between the two brands. I now tend to reach for a CG first, but I am not yet ready to part with my "frosties."
