Default Longmire Fans

Hubby just came in to say there is a season 5 on Netflix. Guess I will have to quit sewing and go check it out.

Fans of Longmire !! Did you all know they have "Longmire Days", in Buffalo, WY, the 'home' of Longmire. Some of the stars and Craig Johnson, the author of the books, are there to visit and sign 'stuff'. Yu might want to check it out. Buffalo is in the foothills of the Big Horn Mountains - a spectacular place to be in the summer.

I really liked Longmire; got hooked with the first 2 years- then poof - it was off the tv. I don't watch it on Netflix. ;~(
Glades was the same way; one I think just 1 season and it too was gone. Bummer.

Just started watching it. My daughter lives in Santa Fe. When they had the rodeo parade, she said "Only in Santa Fe could a fictional Wyoming sheriff lead the parade and everyone would know who he was. It is filmed it Los Vegus NM. In real life the store under the sheriff's office is a Quilt store. I all ways try to see if I can see a quilt.

Love this show! I am binge watching it as I hand sew the bindings on several quilts.

AMC is just rotten that way regarding good shows. Making them, getting you hooked, then dropping the show.

Sewnclog it is good that Netflix picked it up and we have had more seasons. Glades dropped the ball at the end of the 4th season. That really bugged me. Another show I loved was The Finder. But that very large minority gentleman unfortunately died from a heart attack at the end of that first season and so they killed the show.

Did you all know that the guy who plays the Sheriff on Longmire is an Aussie? We get some of the best actor talent from that country now.

Papmom, I just KNEW there was a reason why I loved this show so much. Quilt shops have such good karma.
