I love it but then I love scrappies. This summer I made 6 quilts using up 2 1/2' and 3" strips. Also used up a box of 5" squares for those quilts. I have a box of 2 1/2 and 3" squares that will be made into quilts this winter. I am so into using up what I have. It looks like my stash is shrinking. I also make do with what I have for backing even if I have to piece, same with backing. Your quilt inspires me to keep plugging along. Thanks.

Great job! I love how the scrappies look. Good thinking.

I made the same witch wallhanging as your avatar. My 5 year old grandson at the time said, "Bammaw, that scares me!" He is now 7 and my son says he's now getting into the scarier aspects of Halloween so they will try to hang again this year.

lfletcher - I sympathize with your grandson. I'm the kid that my parents took to The Wizard of Oz when I was I think 5, and they had to remove me from the theater when the witch showed up. Didn't do a thing to make me dislike Halloween, I love the stuff you can make for this holiday

That is wonderful. I should do the same with my scraps. Just blend them together and see what I can come up with.
    Thank you for this idea.
