    I had a lot of trouble with this and as you can see my red is off at the top. Next one will be better.[ATTACH=CONFIG]561994[/ATTACH] I almost threw in the garbage.

    You did not really discard this, did you? I don't think it's bad at all! You can donate it or if you are planning on making another one, why not use this one to audition your quilting design?

    It looks pretty but if you want to fix the off set, use wonder under to make some Cardinal appliques from the border fabric. Applique about 3 around the wreath as if they are perching there. It will look as if you planned it.

    I'm not seeing it, but then, I don't look for those things. I think it's beautiful! Love the cardinals.

    my motto is 'better off done than perfect', love your topper ... we are most critical of our own work, I understand that, me too ... but don't bring it to anyone's attention and most likely they won't see it.

    I think you did a good job. Yes, the cardinal idea would be a great fixer. We all learn from our mistakes, but I think its beautiful.
