    Default Backing color help please

I would like to find a wide backing for this top, but am a loss as to what color would compliment it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Love your top. I think that I would go with a blue backing fabric, but any color from the blocks would work also.

its a beautiful quilt - great job! I personally am thinking something batik.. but not too strong so it doesn't over power the top.. but then again sometimes a bold backing is awesome.. see I am no help not sure if batiks come in wide.

Not sure if these links will work - but these I love

For some reason I really like a stripe fabric for backs. I would look for a stripe that had some of the colors from the front.
as another idea, I would make some additional blocks like you have on the front and run a row of them either horizontally or vertically on the back and use a complementary color or stripe on either side of the row of blocks. When I piece a back like this, I set the row of blocks off-center in a 1/3 and 2/3 ratio.

You should be able to find a batik with most if not all of the block colors in it.

Lovely top! For me it would depend on which fabric I was going to do my binding. I like the binding to coordinate with the top and backing. I might find a backing fabric and do binding in the peachy cream that is similar to the background in some of the blocks.

The fabric that you have bordering the blocks would be my choice.
