Default great idea for gifting money

My son doesn't want anything for Christmas this year. Yea, Right! so i came up with a good idea. i went onto Youtube, and looked up different shapes to make in origami. I'll make him a shirt and pants. Maybe something else like a car to get a few things for his car too.

How have yu gifted money to some one? I need ideas.

And I did get him gifts, but i know he needs cloths.

I have gifted money and gift cards in little Chritmas stocking I hung on our tree. I have also made the tiny men's origami shirts that are Kleenex holders but I put a gift card in instead.

My sister used to fold money (origami style). I think that's a great idea. Here's a link on some things to make from money:

DH has a serious Bojangles habit. A couple of years ago I could not come up with any gift for him. After several hours of hitting the stores I was frustrated and headed for home. I passed Bojangles, turned around and went in to get a gift card. I asked for ten $10 gift cards, ten boxes they put the sweet potato pies in and ten bags. I put the gift cards in the boxes, the boxes in the bags and stuck a bow on them. Christmas morning I put them under the tree and he still says it was one of the best gifts ever.

my dh gets gift cards to all of the fast food places around here. There is a lot, but mainly Burger King, McDonalds, Subway, Taco Bell, Dunkin'Donuts, Panera, 7-11 and Friendly's.

I just put money in a card but I do make a Christmas sack and my grand girls like my cereal mix so I make cereal mix and put that in a plastic bag along with some homemade chocolate chip cookies and then my card with the money. Oh yes and one more thing I buy about 10 lotto tickets and we madly scratch them off to see if we won the big bucks. It adds a little something to the celebration. I don't cook a big meal anymore. We go out to eat and so we have to adjust our gathering to that setting.

My sister bought a box lot at a public auction with Christmas decorations & other odds & ends. There were several of those little stockings that still had money in them!

One year I used a square tissue box and I got new bills from the bank, taped them end to end and then rolled them up and put them in the box. I labeled the box a money box and instructions to only remove what was needed. Of course my grandson had to immediately pull it all out to see how much was there, but it was kind of fun anyway.

I have gifted money and sometimes I wrote rhymes to go with them.

If it was a gas card, I wrote something about a car. I gave enough money for passports last year and wrote a rhyme but I think my youngest son and his fiancée used it on their wedding which was fine.

I wish I would have saved them but I am trying to 'let go' of things.
