Got mine done yesterday, but need to charge camera and take pics.
Thanks so much...I'm quite pleased with it

GreelyGal - LOOOOOOVVEE your block!!

There's so many different fabrics that each of the blocks seem to stand on their own :)....I'm absolutely loving this BOM. I do believe I'd addicted

if you go back to Carol Doaks sight where this block came from, on that same page, she has a section on how to converts most patterns to paperpiecing.
Also I f you go the quilters cache site here is the link http://www.quilterscache.com/index.html

and then go to the bottom of the page and choose quilt block galore. there are a lot of paperpieceing pattterns in there to try,. This site has a lot of quilts blocks for you to try paperpieced and regular!

Aberi - Ohhhh - thanks for the info. I will check it out. I tried to buy Carol Doaks book on paper piecing at our local Barnes & Nobel but they didn't have it nor does my library - Guess Amazon is next. I did buy Maggie Malone's 5,500 Quilt Block Designs - exciting book. I think I might have to plan on living to 200 yrs. to get all done that I would like

Before you print check your printer settings and change Page Scaling or Resolution (depending upon printer) to 'NONE' that will give you the correct size ;).

Is it too late to start the BOMs? I'm going to assume (which very often gets me into trouble) that y'all will be doing these the entire year?

I'd love to join in as I really like PP, after you get the hang of it , it goes so fast and the blocks are so beautiful. The tutorial is wonderfully written, so if you're scared don't be.

I've printed out January and February's blocks. I'll have to pull enough background fabric, so at year's end 'it will all go together'...:D

In my starting gate waiting for someone to fire the gun and tell me it's OK ;)

Just got back from trip to Charlotte NC and want to show you all my block. It is not perfect but it is my first PP block and I am so glad I tried it and so glad I did because now I will do more.
And I sure thank all of you for encouraging and challanging us to do this. God Bless and your talent!
