Oh, wow, Mim! :-))) Your choice of blue really made the black and yellow center pop. Wow, so nice!

The quilt tops look gorgeous. It's so much fun to see what everyone has been doing!
Klaws and maryb119 I would be interested in doing a round robin in 2017. I would even consider organizing it (after I chatted with givio, if she was willing to chat). Lets stay in touch.

I had this blue with stars fabric for a while -- just waiting for the right place to use it. I used Courthouse steps squares so the blue would make borders when I sewed them all together. The flower centers are fabric I bought in Piestany, Slovakia when I was there. One of the purples is from the UK.

The blue is part of the blocks! Wonderful job on matching the seams then, impressive. It sure looks like a strip border in the picture.

Ripped On Scotch, vovoa is asking about a picture of the 4th round on her quilt top. Have you got a picture of it you can post?

vovoa, kind regards sent to you, your brother, and family. It's a difficult time.

All the 4th rounds should be finished. They should all have been mailed. The week for mailing it was the week starting Nov. 20. Anyone who hasn't already mentioned mailing/receiving the 4th round quilt top, please update us! It seems like I read that 6 have been received so far.

It's time to sew the 5th round, the last, and it's to be 8", finishing the top at 68" (68 1/2" with the seam allowance). Let's start sharing pictures mid-December, and mail home sometime this year! :-)

The blue looks the same as the blue in the center. And how cool - to have fabric from all over! I love it.
